Dr. Hal Schultz grew up in the Boulder area and became interested in horses and livestock when he started showing horses in 4H. He developed an further appreciation for agriculture and livestock production while spending his summers working on a local farm and cow-calf operation.
Dr. Schultz attended the University of Kansas majoring in Biochemistry prior to attending Colorado State University for veterinary school. His career interests include large animal emergency medicine, equine lameness, and equine and bovine reproduction.
In his spare time, Dr. Schultz enjoys anything outdoors including running, hiking, camping and hunting but he also enjoys visiting local breweries and spending time with his 2 cats.
