The old adage of an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure applies here at Countryside. Whether it is your horse(s), cow herd, 4-H projects, or pet goat, there are vaccines and de-wormers to decrease or prevent a host of diseases. While several of these vaccines can be purchased over the counter, you and your animals will benefit by having one of our veterinarians directly involved with your routine inoculations. This is a newly offered program with our ultimate goal being a healthier animal and a stronger ongoing relationship between the veterinarian and your animals. We will design an individualized program for each and every animal based on their age, general purpose, and historical health circumstances. Don’t misperceive our mission; we are not attempting to micromanage every animal. We simply want to be able to analyze your animal’s needs and determine our recommendations to establish an ongoing health program for whatever specie you have. These recommendations will range from vaccines, dentistry, and any other individualized health issues that will need to be addressed. Think of this as an ongoing "personal trainer" for your animals.
