At CLAVS, we enjoy the food animal aspect of our
practice. In addition to the simple day to day health care of these species, we
also do a significant amount of routine herd health. Semen evaluation and
pregnancy diagnosis in large or small herds is an enjoyable aspect of our spring
and fall seasons. We are more than willing to bring to your facility our
portable hydraulic cattle working chute. This allows your animals, your help and
our staff to perform procedures in the safest and most efficient manner
possible. In addition to large herd work we also offer specialty services such
as cosmetic surgical dehorns, penile translocations, and vasectomy surgeries on
all ruminants. Additionally, hernia or belly rupture surgery, cryptorcid surgery
and hock surgeries are commonly performed by our veterinarians. In concert with
our procedures, we are glad to help you design and implement vaccination and
total health care programs for your herd.
