Dr. Deidre Loendorf-Ask
Dr. Deidre Loendorf-Ask was born and raised on a cow/calf ranch homesteaded by her family north of Wolf Point, Montana near the Canadian border. Growing up she spent her days starting horses for the family ranch as well as outside clients which helped to earn entry fees for quarter horse shows as well cutting competitions in high school rodeo, 4-H and FFA trips. Utilizing the horses primarily for ranch work taught her the value of a good minded, sound horse. The extreme rural situation meant that a
veterinarian would not be readily available and because of this inconvenience
and at times critical situation; at a young age Dr. Loendorf-Ask knew she would
grow up to be a veterinarian.
After graduating valedictorian Dr. Loendorf-Ask completed 3 years of undergraduate studies at Montana State University before being accepted into Veterinary school at Washington State University. Her Animal Science degree was earned during veterinary school and subsequent DVM was completed in May 2010. In her “free” time Dr. Loendorf-Ask enjoys mountain biking in the summer and snowboarding through the winter with her husband Evan. Upon returning home she can be found on a horse....on the prairie...rain or shine.
